Saudi Arabia-led Islamic coalition puts PKK in terror list
The coalition of Sunni Muslim states under the leadership of Saudi Arabia put 14 groups and organizations, including the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in its terror list.

The coalition has stated that the PKK is an armed leftist and Marxist group and it is seeking to establish and independent Kurdistan and Pejak, PYD and PCDK are its branches in Iran, Syria and Iraq.

According to Saudi daily of al-Watan, Hamud Ziadi, an expert on extremist groups told the organizations have been put into the list according to information obtained from Saudi news agencies for putting Islamic countries into danger, igniting ethnic wars and destroying public facilities.

The Islamic State (IS, or Daesh) in Syria and Iraq, Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Yemen’s Houthis, the al-Qaeda branch in Saudi Arabia, the PKK, Taliban Movement and some other groups and organizations are a number of the groups and organizations that the coalition has put into its terror list.
